Outside of work, Ross has a broad range of community interests. Ross served on Windsor, California’s first Parks, and Recreation Commission, where he was elected both Vice-Chairman and Chairman. His governmental involvement also included an appointment on the Sonoma County Business Crime Prevention Task Force and selection to Leadership Santa Rosa Class XVI.
Ross was also a long-time director of the North Bay World Trade Association, focusing on international business issues, and served on the Sonoma County Bar Association Board of Directors, where he was elected to two terms as Chair of the Intellectual Property and Technology Law section.
Ross’ commitment to community extends to non-profit organizations, including the boards of the Santa Rosa Sunrise Rotary Club (President 2007-2008), and Congregation Beth Ami.
His interests also include technology-related fields; Ross is a senior editor for “Secrets of Home Theater and High Fidelity” magazine, and he plays bass guitar in several local ensembles.
