Marlon Young voted to Chair the Aviation Commission for 2006-2007

The Aviation Commission has voted Marlon Young as the Chair for 2006-2007. Further Marlon Young has been selected to be the Vice Chair of the Citizens Advisory committee for the Airport Master Plan. AOPA has asked Marlon Young to be a presenter at the annual Aircraft Owners and Pilot Association convention on the issue of Aircraft Ownership, LLC's and Corporations.

By law, two hours of ethics training must be completed by all special district board members by January 1, 2007. Board members must also comply with state mandated sexual harassment training requirements. Training sessions that satisfy these legal requirements are being offered on two dates to provide a broader opportunity for all special district board members to attend. Sexual Harassment will be presented on October 14, 2006 at Fountain Grove Inn Hotel & Conference Center from 8:00 - 10:00 am, Board Ethics - 10:30 - 12:30, and again on October 28, 2006 Board Ethics will be presented from 8:00-10:00 and sexual harassment will be from 10:30 - 12:30 pm.
